I like kids, but for me it’s always been about babies. The newer, the better. Lie them down, they stay put. Change them, walk them, cuddle them, feed them is about all you need to do. But like Ms Stefani, I noticed too that as they grew so did their needs and their problems, many of which the answers for are not easy.
My favourite stage of childhood is unfortunately as we all know, rather short-lived. I remember how swiftly each of my kids became a real little person, usually when they headed off to school, and the tiny bit of sadness that went along with it. Those early days went much too fast. So I therefore relish the opportunity to snuggle a little one every chance I get. They are just so darn cute.
